I'm Jeff Hublit, and I started Big Woods Business Development because I saw a problem that needed fixing.
Too many small businesses in northern Minnesota were either trying to figure out marketing on their own or paying metro agencies that didn't understand their community. The DIY approach eats up your time and rarely gets results. The big agencies charge big prices and treat you like just another account.
I wanted to offer something different — personal, hands-on business consulting from someone who actually lives here and understands what it's like to run a business in our part of the state.
I'm a family man first. My wife and I are raising two young girls here in northern Minnesota, and we've put down deep roots in this community. When I help a local business grow, I'm not just checking a box — I'm investing in the place where my kids are growing up.
My background spans marketing strategy, web design, social media, and business development. I also created JobBidR, an app that connects homeowners with licensed contractors — so I understand what it takes to build something from the ground up.
